About this widget
Steam Recent shows your recently played games as a list or a cover grid: playtime, cover art from the Steam CDN, and an achievement completion bar per game. Clicking a game launches it straight through Steam.
It talks to the official Steam Web API with a key and SteamID64 you keep in DeskDash's secrets vault; the host injects them into requests on its side, so they never enter the widget document. The fetched snapshot and cover art are cached in widget storage, so layout edits and reloads serve the cache instead of burning API calls. You choose how many games to show and how often to refresh.
